Albina P. Moran


Albina’s practice is concentrated in the area of commercial law with an emphasis on commercial and industrial real estate sales and purchases, mortgage financing, mortgage sale and foreclosure proceedings, and leasing. Her practice also includes corporate law, administration of pension funds, conservation easement related matters, the administration of estates and privacy law.

Representative Cases/Transactions

Albina has worked on many complex mortgage financing transactions involving commercial real estate with various elements of property development. She has also been a member of inter-firm legal teams acting for clients on major acquisitions, mergers and sales of businesses involving real estate portfolios

Publications and Presentations

Albina has made presentations on various areas of her practice such as privacy law to benefits & pension consultants, students enrolled at the University of Manitoba Participative Management Course, The Winnipeg Real Estate Board and at the 2006 Canadian Ronald McDonald House Conference.

Albina was a contributing editor to the Canadian Association of Farm Advisors (CAFA) 2007 Farm Business Advisor Manual.

Legal Teachings

Albina has acted as a seminar leader in the Real Property Section of The Manitoba Bar Admission course sponsored by The Manitoba Law Society where she also participates as a lecturer in The Manitoba Law Society’s Continuing Legal Education Program.
