Bailey Harris


Bailey’s practice is focused in the areas of civil litigation and labour and employment law.

Bailey was a summer student at Thompson Dorfman Sweatman LLP in 2006 and 2007 and returned as an articling student in 2008. She joined the firm as an associate in 2009.

Achievements

Bailey entered the Master of Arts program with the Centre for Defence and Security Studies at the University of Manitoba in 2004. She completed her Master’s thesis while in law school and obtained her MA and LLB in 2008. She received the University of Manitoba Graduate Fellowship and was a recipient of the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council Fellowship (“SSHRC”) for her research on the development of political theory in Security Studies.

Bailey was the recipient of the D.A. Thompson Prize for the highest standing in Employment Law and the Robert I. Soronow Q.C. Prize in Dispute Resolution (Theory and Practice).
