Douglas Tait

Douglas Tait’s practice is concentrated in the area of corporate and commercial law and commercial and residential real estate with an emphasis on the leasing, conveyancing and development of commercial real estate, the purchase and sale of residential real estate, commercial and residential subdivisions, business sales and acquisitions, natural gas transmission rights-of-way and easements, personal property security transactions and general corporate and commercial law practices.

Douglas joined the firm of Thompson Dorfman Sweatman as an articling student in 1981. He remained with the firm as an associate after being called to the Bar in 1982 and became a partner in 1990.
