Glen Agar


Glen’s practice is focussed on the corporate and commercial areas of the law. He has particular experience in mergers and acquisitions, the preparation and negotiation of agreements, banking and finance, government relations, securities, and agricultural matters.

Representative Cases/Transactions

Secretary and legal counsel to Monteris Medical Inc., a medical device company in the research and development stage headquartered in Winnipeg, which is developing a MRI Guided laser probe for the treatment of brain tumors. Glen was lead counsel in a number of rounds of financing.

Secretary and legal counsel to Shape Foods Ltd., a food processing company that produces omega3 rich flax oil using a proprietary process to extract the oil from flax seeds. Glen was lead counsel in its recent round of financing.

Legal Teachings

Accredited instructor for the International Right of Way Association, a professional association of members who are involved in all aspects of real property matters, and has instructed courses in real property and general law in Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta and the Yukon for more than 10 years
