Melissa spent the summers of 2006 and 2007 as a summer student with Thompson Dorfman Sweatman LLP. She returned in June, 2008 as an articling student, as an associate in June, 2009.
Melissa practices mainly in the areas of labour and employment law. She has experience providing advice to both employees and employers, in both unionized and non-unionized contexts. Melissa has experience participating in:

Proceedings before the Employment Insurance Board of Referees; and

Manitoba Human Rights Commission complaint process.
