Overview

We are currently looking for a Marketing Coordinator, Communications and Events to join our team. The Marketing Coordinator, Communications and Events will primarily support the efforts of the Marketing & Business Development Department as a whole, serving the internal needs of the firm’s lawyers and external clients.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate all aspects of sponsorships, client events and receptions, to include, but not limited to all event logistics, execution and evaluation
  • Overseeing internal/external advertising; developing seminar materials and handouts; working or attending the event; measuring return on investment; and ensuring participant follow-up
  • Coordinating profile, rankings, and directory submissions for organizations/publications for the firm, lawyers and practice areas.  
  • Managing all third-party sponsorship agreements, including research, advice, invoicing, and collateral material provision
  • Lead for sporting events execution including ticket distribution for sporting events in private suites including food and beverage ordering
  • Maintain communication with strategic partners, suppliers and other external stakeholders (including marketing agencies, industry partners, charities, not-for-profits, etc.)
  • Lead the research, selection, ordering inventory tracking distribution of branded merchandise and custom corporate gifting.
  • Submitting articles, news and announcements to local and national media outlets
  • Serve as back-up for creating, scheduling and managing regular external communications to include social media, website updates, e-blasts and newsletters.
  • Provide administrative support to the Marketing & Business Development Department

 

Skills & Abilities

  • Skills, knowledge and experience in producing events, as well as the design and execution of marketing, communications and public relations activities
  • Work effectively in a professional, fast-paced environment
  • Enthusiasm and dedication to the development of a professional services marketing career
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • A high degree of accuracy, proofreading and strong attention to detail
  • Dependability and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Practices open and continuous communication, values keeping others informed, effectively presenting information in a clear, concise manner
  • Naturally has a helpful mindset, client service mentality, and a positive attitude
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, including the ability to set priorities, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) and experience in Interaction other CRM programs highly desirable.
  • Sound professional judgment

Hours

This role is a full-time position
Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.
Must be flexible to work some additional hours, for example, attending evening functions from time-to-time.
