The purchase of the Medical Arts Building, located at 233 Kennedy Street, for $7.9 million closed on November 1, 2015. This purchase included the adjoining surface-parking lot, as well as the parkade facing Edmonton Street.
Manitoba Liquor & Lotteries Corporation purchased this property, and was represented by Lisa Stiver and Lewis Allen of Thompson Dorfman Sweatman LLP. TDS worked with Manitoba Liquor & Lotteries Corporation on the Request for Proposals to select this property for its new head office, and provided advice to the client from the tendering process through to the completion of the transaction.
