The sale of the Medical Arts Building (a 15-storey multi-tenant professional & medical services building located at 233 Kennedy Street, including a surface parking lot and adjacent parkade), for $15.5 million CAD was closed on June 8th, 2017. Located in the heart of Winnipeg’s downtown, this building was purchased by Timbercreek who aim to complete an office redevelopment for a portion of the property and a broader conversion to residential multi-family units.
TDS Partner Lisa Stiver, along with associates Lewis Allen, and Ali Hyde, acted for the client Manitoba Liquor & Lotteries Corporation to conduct due diligence on the prospective purchasers, negotiate the Purchase & Sale Agreement with the Purchaser, and completed the transaction.
