The selected companies will attend a workshop on June 17-18, 2015, where they will learn about Eureka Project process, doing business in Europe, how to identify business prospects abroad and some guidelines on exporting to the EU. On top of it, they’ll have the opportunity to expand their network and discover how B2B Matchmaking works. Please note that this event is a private, by invitation-only event.

Silvia de Sousa will be speaking on Intellectual Property from a Canadian perspective. Ross Nicol from Maclay Murray & Spens LLP, the Lex Mundi
member law firm for Scotland, will also be speaking on Intellectual Property from an EU perspective via video conference.

The sector identified for this workshop is Information and Communications Technology (ICT).

The “What’s in it for EU (you)?” speaker series is part of the Europe Market Access Program (EU MAP) of the WTC Winnipeg. The EU MAP is geared towards assisting Manitoba companies in developing their trade potential with Europe and identifying tangible business opportunities.
