Thompson Dorfman Sweatman LLP lawyers Leilani Kagan K.C. and Silvia de Sousa are participating in the Business Transitions Forum, a conference and workshop for business owners about growth and transition, taking place October 12 and 13, 2023 at the Delta Hotel Winnipeg. Since 2015, the Business Transitions Forum has evolved to reveal comprehensive strategies to grow businesses of all kinds, while still educating entrepreneurs on the role M&A can play to increase shareholder value on both the sell side and buy side.

The conference kicks off with a VIP welcome reception for business owners on October 11 and then the work begins with a full-day conference on October 12. After a networking breakfast and welcome by Peter Jessiman, Pierre Cléroux, Vice President Research & Chief Economist, at BDC starts the conference with his economic outlook and the impacts for entrepreneurs.
