Royal MTC & MBA Presentation - 9 to 5: The Musical Sponsorship

Thompson Dorfman Sweatman LLP (TDS) is excited to once again sponsor Royal Manitoba Theatre Centre (Royal MTC) and The Manitoba Bar Association theatrical presentation of 9 to 5 The Musical, taking place at the Royal MTC from May 9-13, 2023.

9 to 5 The Musical, with music and lyrics by Dolly Parton and book by Patricia Resnick, is based on the seminal 1980 hit movie. Set in the late 1970s, this hilarious story of friendship and revenge in the Rolodex era is outrageous, thought-provoking and even a little romantic.

Cast entirely with members from the Manitoba Bar Association, including TDS lawyer Melanie LaBossiere, the Lawyers Play is one of Royal MTC’s largest fundraisers and since its inception in 1990 has raised over $1.1 million to support Royal MTC and the Winnipeg Fringe Festival.
