Christianson TDS lawyers Mason Broadfoot and Lucy Kinnear are joining investment and retirement planner Bryan Tinling and accountant Kent Thorkelsson from First Choice Income Tax to give a presentation to the Portage la Prairie community titled Will and Estate Considerations on November 16, 2022, at the Red River College Polytechnic Portage la Prairie Campus. Learn the importance of having a will to ensure your estate will be divided according to your wishes. You will learn about the different types of wills and what to include in a will.

Presenters include four experts who can give you advice on every facet of will and estate planning:
- Investment and Retirement Planner Bryan Tinling from RBC
- Lawyers Lucy Kinnear and Mason Broadfoot from Christianson TDS
- Accountant Kent Thorkelsson from First Choice Income Tax
Mason is a lawyer in our Portage la Prairie and Neepawa offices. Although Mason has a particular interest in corporate and commercial matters and assisting local businesses in managing their legal affairs, he maintains a broad practice and is able to serve clients in many different aspects of the law. Additional practice areas include municipal law, real estate transactions, wills, estates, and succession planning. Mason also looks after the Christianson TDS branch office in MacGregor.
Lucy is a partner at TDS with a practice that includes residential and agricultural real estate transactions, wills and estate planning, and estate administration. In addition to her practice in Portage la Prairie, she operates the firm’s Gladstone branch. Lucy graduated from the University of Manitoba in 1995 with a B.A. in English and Political Studies. In 2001 she received her LLB from the University of Manitoba Faculty of Law. Lucy was called to the Manitoba Bar in 2002. She moved to Portage la Prairie in 2005, where she continues to live and practice law.
