Grant Thornton Thunder Bay - September 2021

We understand that Grant Thornton has clients in Northwestern Ontario who have legal needs in specialized (“niche”) areas. Some of these niche areas of the law may not be offered by local law firms to any significant degree, or perhaps at all. In these situations, clients need to engage legal counsel in Toronto or Winnipeg.

TDS is Manitoba’s largest independent law firm and one of the leading law firms between Toronto and Calgary. TDS offers knowledge and service in several niche areas of the law, including, but not limited to:

  • Intellectual Property (IP) Protection
  • Privacy Law & Data Protection
  • Business Immigration
  • Tax Litigation & Tax Dispute Resolution

TDS aims to provide Grant Thornton clients in Northwestern Ontario with the best of both worlds. Toronto quality legal services, at Winnipeg prices. When someone from Grant Thornton refers a client to TDS, our primary objective is to solve the client’s legal problem, provide great overall value, and positive professional service experience. Our objective is to further validate in the client’s mind that the referring Grant Thornton accountant is a trusted advisor. At the end of the legal matter, we want the client to thank the Grant Thornton accountant for the helpful and beneficial introduction.
