Celyna is an Associate in TDS's Business Law Group, practicing in the areas of tax law and corporate and commercial law.
Celyna is an Associate in TDS’s Business Law Group, practicing in the areas of tax law and corporate and commercial law. Her practice is primarily focused on mergers and acquisitions, owner-manager taxation issues, corporate reorganizations, and business succession planning. Celyna spent the summers of 2020 and 2021 as a summer student with TDS, and returned in 2022 as an Articling Student-at-Law. Celyna was called to the Manitoba Bar in June 2023, and joined the firm as an Associate.
Celyna graduated from Robson Hall with the University Gold Medal. While at Robson Hall, she served as the President of the Diversity in Law Group and the Robson Hall Debate Society. Before law school, Celyna graduated from the I.H. Asper School of Business with the Bronze Medal in Management, where she was actively involved with the Commerce Students’ Association.
Celyna is passionate about her community and enjoys volunteering with organizations including the Winnipeg Chinese Cultural and Community Centre, the Legal Help Centre, and the Immigrant Centre. She is also a current board member of the St. John’s Ravenscourt School Foundation and the Young Associates.
