Hannah is an associate at TDS practicing in litigation. During law school, they helped create the Trans ID Clinic to support non binary and transgender Manitobans navigating legal name and gender marker changes on their identification. She also worked to co-author a communication under Article 15 of the Rome Statute to the Office of the Prosecutor at the International Criminal Court.
Hannah founded The Ladybug Foundation, a charity that raised funds and awareness for those experiencing homelessness and hunger, supporting more than 65 shelters, missions and food banks across Canada. She also worked with educators to develop makeChange: The Ladybug Foundation Education Program, a K-12 multi-media curriculum to empower young people to make change, distributed to schools around the world.
Hannah was awarded a Meritorious Service Cross (Civil Division) by the Governor General of Canada for her contributions to Canada and was named one of Canada’s Top 100 Most Powerful Women in 2007 and 2017, at the ages of 11 and 21. Among other recognitions, she has received the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Medal and The Muhammad Ali Humanitarian Award.
Hannah currently serves on Rainbow Resource Centre’s capital campaign committee for Place of Pride.
