Lisa's practice focuses on corporate and commercial law, with particular emphasis on commercial transactions, and on property conveyancing, leasing and financing.
Lisa Stiver, K.C., is a partner at TDS whose practice focuses on corporate and commercial law, with particular emphasis on commercial transactions, property conveyancing and financing, and public tendering and procurement. She acts for a diverse list of lenders across Canada in secured lender financing transactions for Manitoba-based owners.
As well, Lisa has significant experience in providing advice on tendering and procurement law in both the private and public sectors. She has represented clients in Ontario, Manitoba, Alberta, and British Columbia, in providing transactional advice and drafting of procurement documents to public institutions in all sectors of government.
Lisa is currently the Chair of the TDS Management Committee, after serving as a member from 2017-the present, as well as the Chair of the firm’s Business Law Practice Group. She is also on the firm’s Student Committee, having chaired it from 2012-2019.
Lisa graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Manitoba in 1995 with Distinction, and received her Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Manitoba in 1998.
She was called to the Bar in Manitoba in 1999.
