Mel is an associate at TDS who practices in the area of civil litigation, with an emphasis on insolvency and bankruptcy law, corporate restructuring, and commercial disputes. She has experience providing advice regarding proposals under the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act, proceedings under the Companies’ Creditors Arrangement Act, and in bankruptcy and receivership matters. In addition, Mel has acted for clients in matters involving loans, loan recovery, and enforcement, commercial lease disputes, and shareholder rights and remedies.
Mel articled at Thompson Dorfman Sweatman LLP in 2019 and joined the firm as an associate in 2020.
