Suzette joined the Brandon firm in April 2016 as a family law associate.
Suzette assists families going though divorce and separation with: property division, child custody disputes and child and spousal support issues. She also prepares separation agreements, prenuptial and cohabitational agreements, provides independent legal advice, and Will preparation.
Suzette appears on behalf of her clients in the Court of Queen’s Bench as well as the Manitoba Court of Appeal.
Suzette obtained her law degree from the Faculty of Law at the University of Alberta in 2012 and completed her articles and was called to the Alberta Bar in 2014, she was called to the Manitoba Bar in 2015, and soon thereafter Suzette and her family relocated to Brandon to be closer to extended family.
Suzette earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in 2008 where she graduated summa cum laude (highest distinction) from San Diego State University.
In her spare time, Suzette enjoys tending the animals on her family’s hobby farm, gardening, outdoor activities, cooking, arts and crafts and spending time with her husband and four young children.
