TDS has had the privilege of servicing clients in Winkler, Morden and the entire Pembina Valley region for a number of years. However, in order to better service its clients, TDS has opened permanent offices in both cities which are staffed by Scott Hoeppner, Art Stacey and Andrew Stewart, with support provided by Legal Assistant Amanda Klassen. The services provided by the local Pembina Valley team are complemented by TDS lawyers from the Winnipeg office, who have specialized expertise in areas including business immigration, intellectual property protection, tax law, cybersecurity and privacy law. Lawyers from our Winnipeg office travel to the Pembina Valley to meet with clients as needed.
Two of TDS’ core values are ‘Community Minded’ and ‘Good Corporate Citizenship’. That is why TDS is a sponsor of the Winkler Flyers, is a member of both the Winkler and Morden Chambers of Commerce and sponsors other Pembina Valley community initiatives. In addition to sponsorships, local lawyers volunteer their time on a ‘pro bono’ basis to support local community initiatives, including North Forge South.
Committed to growing its presence in the region and the services it offers, the Pembina Valley TDS offices provide services in a wide variety of areas including corporate and commercial law, dispute resolution, financial services law, labour and employment law, wills and estates, residential real estate, agricultural law, and commercial property and development. These offices also serve as a link to our larger Winnipeg office, providing clients with access to services and advice provided by more than 80 lawyers in over 20 areas of the law including taxation, environmental law, business immigration, complex litigation, intellectual property, indigenous law, cybersecurity and data protection, privacy law and securities law.
Two exclusive services to TDS that are of particular value to growing businesses and exporters include corporate development services (Acumen Corporate Development Inc.), and global legal services through Lex Mundi law firms in over 100 countries around the world.
