Thompson Dorfman Sweatman LLP (TDS) congratulates Lynda Troup on her election as the 100th President of The Law Society of Manitoba. The Law Society of Manitoba is the governing body for the legal profession in Manitoba and its purpose is to uphold and protect the public interest in the delivery of legal services with competence, integrity and independence.
Lynda has served on a variety of committees at the Law Society of Manitoba since 2009, and was elected as a Bencher in 2014 in the Winnipeg Electoral District. Most recently, Lynda acted as Vice-President to The Law Society of Manitoba in 2019.
Lynda will continue to serve her clients, practising in the areas of civil and commercial litigation and administrative law.
