Thompson Dorfman Sweatman LLP (TDS) congratulates Sacha Paul on his election as the 102nd President of The Law Society of Manitoba. He will officially become president on May 19, 2022, and he will be the first Indigenous lawyer to hold this position.
The Law Society of Manitoba is the governing body for the legal profession in Manitoba and its purpose is to uphold and protect the public interest in the delivery of legal services with competence, integrity and independence.

"Being one of only 102 lawyers in the history of the LSM to hold the position of President is impressive, and being the first Indigenous lawyer makes his election all the more special to everyone here at TDS."
Most recently, Sacha acted as Vice-President to The Law Society of Manitoba in 2021.
Sacha will continue to serve his clients, practising in the areas of Indigenous Law and Public/Administrative Law.
