Thompson Dorfman Sweatman LLP (TDS) is proud to sponsor the 2024 Pride Winnipeg Festival as part of our celebration of Pride Week.
The Pride Winnipeg Festival is one of the largest Pride celebrations between Vancouver and Toronto, attracting over 40,000 locals and guests from all across the Canadian Prairies, North Western Ontario, and North-Central United States. The festival takes place at The Forks and showcases a diverse range of on-stage performances, talented artisans, vendors, engaging activities for youth, lively beer gardens, and an abundance of other attractions.
At TDS, diversity is a core value that shapes our approach to client services, recruitment, and community involvement. We believe that embracing diverse identities, experiences, and backgrounds enhances our ability to deliver exceptional legal services. Our Equity and Accountability Council is dedicated to creating policies and programs that promote a diverse and equitable workplace.
While celebrating the rights and freedoms of 2SLGBTQ+ individuals during Pride, we also acknowledge the ongoing challenges faced by the 2SLGBTQ+ community locally and globally. Throughout Pride, we encourage everyone to learn about the Pride movement, value our differences, and support a community where everyone can thrive both professionally and personally.
