February is Black History Month and TDS encourages everyone to learn about, pay tribute to, and celebrate the invaluable contributions, resilience, and achievements of Black Canadians and their communities.
Black History Month is not only a time for reflection on the struggles and triumphs of the past but also an opportunity to recognize the ongoing journey toward equality and justice. TDS is committed to fostering a diverse, inclusive, and equitable workplace where everyone's voice is heard and valued. We believe that through the identification and development of a diverse and inclusive workforce, our varied experiences, backgrounds, perspectives and identities better position our lawyers and staff to provide exceptional legal services to our clients.
There are many organizations and educational resources across the country devoted to the promotion and awareness of Black Canadian history, including:

This year, TDS continues to be a JD Bridges Foundation Suspension Bridge level sponsor and has again pledged a donation to the Black Law Students' Association of Canada (BLSA)
