Thompson Dorfman Sweatman LLP lawyer Sacha Paul is featured in The Lawyer's Daily August 3, 2022, article Manitoba regulator’s first Indigenous president hopes more will follow.
Sacha sat down for an interview with The Lawyer’s Daily to talk about the long road to becoming the provincial regulator’s 102nd president, strategies to help build Indigenous representation in the profession, and his goals for his one-year term including increasing outreach to the general public and members.
Sacha hails from a Dene community in Saskatchewan and is a member of the English River First Nation. He is a partner with Thompson Dorfman Sweatman LLP, where he first articled at TDS in 2002. He practices primarily in Aboriginal, administrative and environmental law.
