Thompson Dorfman Sweatman LLP (TDS) is pleased to welcome Paula Ethans to the firm. She will be working out of our Winnipeg office.
Paula maintains a broad civil litigation practice, with areas of interest including human rights law, administrative law, environmental law, and aboriginal law. She also has experience in the areas of labour and employment law, and immigration and refugee law.
Prior to joining the Winnipeg office in 2021, Paula articled at a human rights law firm in Ottawa, and then worked at the European Centre for Constitutional and Human Rights in Berlin.
Paula graduated with a Juris Doctor degree from the Common Law Faculty at the University of Ottawa in 2018, where she received the Newton Rowell Entrance Scholarship (2015) and made Dean’s Honour List (2016-2018). She obtained a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in International Development, from the University of Winnipeg in 2013.
