Carli was born and raised in the Rural Municipality of Portage la Prairie. She is a graduate of Acadia University, receiving her Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science in 2003. She received her Bachelor of Laws from Dalhousie University in 2008. Carli went on to article with the Government of Manitoba Department of Justice - Prosecution Service - Portage la Prairie Office and was called to the Bar in 2009. She prosecuted a variety of criminal matters in the Provincial Court of Manitoba and the Manitoba Court of Queen’s Bench until joining TDS as an associate in 2018.


Although Carli has a particular interest in municipal and estate litigation matters, she maintains a broad practice and is able to serve clients in many different aspects of the law. She provides assistance to clients regarding their agricultural and residential property sales and purchases, subdivisions, wills, powers of attorneys, civil litigation, and dispute resolution needs. Carli is also able to assist local businesses with managing their legal affairs and succession planning as part of her corporate and commercial law practice.


Carli is an active member of both the Manitoba Bar Association and the Law Society of Manitoba. She is currently the Director of Membership for the Manitoba Bar Association and is a frequent CPLED (Law Society’s bar admission course) Learning Group Facilitator.


Carli lives in Oakville with her husband Zachary and enjoys trapshooting and nordic skiing in her off time.
