Colton’s practice is primarily focused in the areas of employment, labour and human rights law. He has experience providing advice in a broad range of areas including contractual disputes, collective agreement administration, discipline, termination, wrongful dismissal, arbitration, employment standards and human rights issues. He also provides advice relating to drafting and enforcement of employer policies and manuals, including Respectful Workplace, Internet Use, and Drug and Alcohol Use Policies.
Colton is a member of the Canadian Association of Counsel to Employers (CACE), which is the leading management side labour and employment lawyers organization in Canada.
Colton was an Articling Student at Thompson Dorfman Sweatman LLP in 2016 and joined the firm as an Associate in 2017.
