Scott is a general practice lawyer with a particular emphasis on the areas of environmental law, municipal law, regulatory compliance, civil litigation and commercial transactions. Scott has assisted clients with municipal applications, municipal appeals and matters heard by the Manitoba Court of Queen’s Bench. He has also advised clients on municipal and environmental matters in Saskatchewan and British Columbia.
Scott was a summer student at Thompson Dorfman Sweatman LLP in 2014 and 2015 and returned as an articling student in 2016. Scott joined the firm as an associate in 2017.
Scott spent six years as a field archaeologist prior to joining Thompson Dorfman Sweatman LLP. Scott has on the ground experience with energy generation, natural resource development and environmental impacts throughout the province of Manitoba, with significant experience in Northern and Eastern Manitoba.
