Shoshanna is a proud member of English River First Nation. She is active and well-known in her own community, as well as the larger Indigenous community. Called to the bar in 2015, she has worked closely with Indigenous governments to implement laws and policies as well as litigate specific claims.  Shoshanna is currently the Chair of the Canadian Bar Association’s (Saskatchewan Branch) Aboriginal Law Section – North and serves as its Legislation and Law Reform Representative.
