Jim is an Articling Student, working primarily in the areas of corporate and commercial law, financing, and wills and estates law.

Jim first joined TDS as a summer student in 2023 and returned in 2024 before receiving his Juris Doctor from the University of Manitoba in 2026.

During law school, Jim served as an executive member of the Business Law Group and was recognized for his academic achievements, including several awards for the highest standing in multiple courses. Prior to law school, he earned a BA and an MBA and worked as a Financial Data Analyst while also operating his own small business (a hobby farm!).

Having lived on three continents and traveled to more than 40 countries, Jim enjoys spending time outdoors with family and friends and is always on the lookout for exceptional food and memorable dining experiences.
