TDS is the exclusive member firm in Manitoba for Lex Mundi – the world’s leading network of independent law firms, with in-depth experience in 100+ countries worldwide.

In partnership with Lex Mundi and its member firms, a range of resources have been created, which are designed to support corporate counsel and business executives through the COVID-19 crisis. These resources will be of particular value to organizations involved with cross-border matters and international business activities. Many of these resources are pro bono and are outlined below:

  • COVID-19 Readiness Checks (pro bono): Quick turnaround, tailored surveys of legal/regulatory developments and government measures in key jurisdictions of concern to your organization, followed by a one-hour virtual teleconference with experts from across the globe to offer high level guidance about how governments may implement the measures and help to think through your plans.

  • AI-enabled Contract Reviews (at cost): Through Lex Mundi’s partnership with Diligen, quick and cost-effective contract reviews supported by a global remediation team.

  • Government Support Measures (pro bono): An interactive toolkit summarizing financial aid measures across banking & finance, labour & employment and tax implemented by 107 jurisdictions across the globe, updated in real-time.

  • COVID-19 Legal Updates (pro bono): An aggregator of global legal updates from 150 Lex Mundi member law firms across the globe, which is searchable by country, practice area and industry.

  • COVID-19 Rapid Reaction Task Force (pro bono): Experts from around the globe who can work together to provide multijurisdictional response plans, or be consulted individually.
