Andrea is a paralegal at TDS with extensive experience with Indigenous class action claims and supporting survivors through a complex, trauma-informed compensation process for historic settlements such as Indian Residential Schools, Indian Boarding Homes, Indian Day Schools and Indian Hospitals.
She is responsible for working closely with legal counsel and Claims Administrators to ensure all information aligns with the Settlement Agreement, strict settlement guidelines and deadlines. Key responsibilities involve communication with claimants, verifying claimant eligibility to apply for compensation, preparing Claim Forms, gathering and organizing information and documents to support claims and drafting reconsideration appeals. She is committed to ensuring each survivor is provided compassionate support with disclosing extremely sensitive experiences and guidance with navigating stressful administrative hurdles.
