Heather is pleased to be joining TDS as an articling student after working for the firm as a summer student in 2021 and 2022. During her articling year, she will be practicing in a variety of areas, including intellectual property, business immigration, corporate & commercial, and labour & employment law.

Heather graduated from Robson Hall in 2023. During her third year of law school, she served as the President of the Intellectual Property and Technology Law Group, and she was the group’s second-year representative during its inaugural year. Heather contributed to the Desautels Review, a peer-reviewed journal, through her position as Senior Assistant Editor. She also participated in a clerkship at the Provincial Court of Manitoba and an externship at the Legal Help Centre where she advocated for access to justice.

In 2019, Heather graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in psychology and completed an undergraduate thesis in the clinical stream.
