TDS is pleased to welcome Richard L. Yaffe, Q.C. and Bradley Zander to the firm. Both bring their vast knowledge and experience in multiple areas of the law to TDS.

Richard is a partner who practises primarily in the area of securities law, with a corporate and commercial transactional practice and an emphasis on the strategic use of Manitoba limited partnerships. Richard is highly regarded as Manitoba counsel in multi-jurisdictional public offerings being made in Manitoba. He also represents issuers and dealers in public offerings of equity and debt securities, has acted in the creation of mutual funds, and has represented portfolio managers and advisers. He provides securities law and governance advice to public companies and assists them in their ongoing annual meeting and continuous disclosure requirements. His commercial practice focuses on the creation and maintenance of Manitoba limited partnerships, including private equity and investment funds, and he facilitates ongoing financing and other transactions for those limited partnerships.

Bradley’s practice is focused primarily in the areas of corporate and commercial and securities law. Brad has experience in advising privately-held and publicly traded corporations in connection with mergers and acquisitions, purchases and sales of businesses, public and private offerings, takeover bids, shareholder disputes and corporate governance. In addition, Brad has extensive experience advising Canadian and foreign private equity and venture capital funds in connection with acquisitions, portfolio company corporate governance matters, and exit strategies.
