Lynda Troup is a partner at TDS with a practice focused on civil and commercial litigation and administrative law. She regularly advises on complex disputes involving intellectual property, contractual matters, employment law, and regulatory issues. Lynda has appeared before all levels of court in Manitoba, the Federal Court of Canada, and numerous administrative tribunals. A past President of the Law Society of Manitoba and current Manitoba representative at the Federation of Law Societies, Lynda is also a published legal author and former university instructor. She has been recognized by Lexpert and Benchmark Canada as a leader in litigation since 2018.
Silvia de Sousa is a partner at TDS and a registered trademark agent with a practice focused on business law, intellectual property, and technology law. She advises clients on IP protection, trademarks, copyrights, licensing, and commercial transactions involving tech and innovation. Silvia has taught IP and licensing law at the University of Manitoba and served as Chair of both the Canadian and Manitoba Bar Association’s IP law sections. She has been recognized annually in The Best Lawyers in Canada™ for Technology Law since 2016.
