With deep regret, we announce that our friend and former colleague, Richard Scott, has passed away at the age of 86.
Scott pursued a career in law, earning his law degree from the University of Manitoba in 1963. That same year, he was called to the bar and began practising primarily as a civil litigation lawyer at Thompson Dorfman Sweatman LLP. He was the longest-serving chief justice in Manitoba in history and was inducted into both the Order of Canada and Order of Manitoba.
The Partners, Associates, Students and Staff of TDS extend our sincere condolences to the Scott family.
