A team of TDS lawyers advised private equity company Perwyn on Canadian aspects of its $130 million Series D investment into HungryPanda.

Perwyn led the investment round, joining investors 83North, Burda Principal Investments, Felix Capital Kinnevik, Piton Capital, and Vintage, and debt provider Kreos Capital. HungryPanda is an on-demand Chinese food delivery business that was established in 2017, and now has operations in more than 60 cities across the globe including Canada, US, UK, Australia, France, Italy, Japan, New Zealand, Singapore and South Korea. Lawyers from multiple Lex Mundi member law firms gave the client access to a global network of trusted local legal resources in several jurisdictions.
