This seminar examines the statutory timelines, payment requirements, proper invoicing and role of adjudication in the construction payment process. Participants will learn which disputes can proceed to adjudication, who can initiate the process and what to expect once an adjudication begins.
The session will also explore how stronger contracts, project documentation and internal workflows can help construction industry participants stay prepared and navigate Manitoba’s payment rules.
This course is designed for owners, contractors, subcontractors and consultants looking to better understand Manitoba’s prompt payment and adjudication requirements and their practical application to construction projects.
