Jeffrey Kowall

Profile

Jeff’s practice is focused on corporate and commercial law. He advises clients with respect to financings, mergers and acquisitions, commercial agreements and other corporate and commercial matters. Jeff has particular expertise advising mining companies on commercial matters, including those relating to project development from the due diligence phase, through the negotiation and drafting of letters of intent, option agreements and joint venture agreements. He also is experienced in assisting mining companies and financing parties in connection with confirmation and analysis of mineral interest tenure in Manitoba.

Jeff previously conducted a sports law practice with a particular focus on providing advice to professional hockey players as a certified agent with the National Hockey League Players’ Association.

Jeff also has experience serving as senior in-house counsel for a publicly-traded Canadian company with operations in North and South America, Australia and Eastern Europe.
