Kassi began working as a Court Clerk Monitor and Staff Justice of the Peace for the Province of Manitoba in May 2016. She held that position until she was admitted to and began the J.D. program at Robson Hall in September 2021.

Kassi is a dedicated lawyer with a strong passion for family law, alternative dispute resolution, and labour and employment matters. With a client-centered approach, Kassi is committed to helping individuals and families navigate the complex legal challenges with compassion, clarity, and integrity. Drawing a deep understanding of conflict resolution, Kassi advocates for practical and respectful solutions – whether through mediation, negotiation, or litigation when necessary.

With respect to labour and employment law, Kassi believes in supporting employees and employers in addressing workplace issues with fairness and professionalism and strives to empower her clients with the knowledge and support they need to make informed decisions.

Kassi grew up in and currently resides in Portage la Prairie with her husband and two children. Kassi’s husband is an active, serving member of the Royal Canadian Airforce.

Kassi believes strongly in providing her hometown and community with legal support and services tailored to a rural community. Kassi’s practice is rooted in the belief that by maintaining a client-centered focus, the law can be a tool for healing, resolution, and lasting positive change.
