Stephen Branigan maintains a broad solicitor’s practice and is committed to serving clients across a wide range of legal areas. His work includes corporate and commercial law, municipal law, real estate, oil and gas, civil litigation, as well as wills, estates, and succession planning.

As a member of both the Manitoba and Saskatchewan Bars, Stephen has a particular interest in cross-border solicitor work between the two provinces. Originally from Redvers, Saskatchewan, he now lives in Brandon, Manitoba with his family and is proud to be part of the local community.

Stephen is a Brandon University alumnus and went on to graduate from the University of Saskatchewan College of Law in 2017. He was called to the Manitoba Bar in 2018 and to the Saskatchewan Bar in 2021.

Outside his legal practice, Stephen is actively involved in community service. He is a Director of the Brandon Downtown Development Corporation, where he serves on the executive committee, and contributes to initiatives aimed at revitalizing the downtown core. He also sits on the Board of Directors of the Brandon and Area Community Foundation, helping oversee endowed funds and support grants for charities and community organizations throughout southwestern Manitoba.

In his spare time, Stephen enjoys volunteering as a hockey coach and supporting his children’s involvement in activities. Professionally, he takes pride in assisting clients with a wide range of matters—from buying and selling property, to starting and growing businesses or farm operations, to estate planning and administration. He especially values building long-term relationships with his clients and being a trusted advisor throughout their personal and professional lives.
