Terra’s practice is focused in the areas of labour, employment and professional regulation.
Her labour and employment practice focuses on advice to employers related to employment contracts, employee manuals, collective agreement administration, discipline, terminations, wrongful dismissals, employment standards, human rights issues, and workplace safety and health matters. She acts as counsel in proceedings before arbitrators, courts, the Manitoba Labour Board, and human rights tribunals.
With respect to the professional regulation portion of her practice, Terra provides advice to self-governing professions. She acts as counsel to complaints, discipline and appeal committees and assists with policy development and general administrative matters.
