Thompson Dorfman Sweatman LLP (TDS) is pleased to announce that Stephen Branigan has joined the firm as an associate at the Roy Johnston TDS, Brandon Office.
A Brandon University alumnus, Stephen earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Saskatchewan College of Law in 2017. He was called to the Manitoba Bar in 2018 and the Saskatchewan Bar in 2021.
Stephen is a solicitor with a broad practice in corporate and commercial law, municipal law, real estate, oil and gas, civil litigation, and wills, estates, and succession planning, bringing experience across both Manitoba and Saskatchewan.
His focus is on building long-term client relationships and serving as a trusted advisor throughout his clients’ personal and professional lives.
Originally from Redvers, Saskatchewan, Stephen now calls Brandon home, where he lives with his family and is actively involved in the local community.
He serves as a Director of the Brandon Downtown Development Corporation, sits on its executive committee, and is a member of the Board of Directors of the Brandon and Area Community Foundation, supporting charitable grants and endowed funds throughout southwestern Manitoba.
He is also a dedicated hockey coach and actively supports his children’s activities.
