TDS congratulates four lawyers on their Chambers Canada 2022 rankings.

Congratulations to TDS Lawyers Ross McFadyen, John Stefaniuk, Greg Tallon and Bruce Taylor for being recognized and ranked in the Chambers Canada 2022.

John Stefaniuk has been recognized nationally in the Environment category. He has a broad range of project experience in natural resources, hydroelectricity, environmental, municipal and property development. He has significant experience in development, municipal and environmental licensing and approvals, consultation, government relations, acquisitions, financing, municipal development approvals. John represents clients in energy, mining, forestry, banking, agribusiness, and property development industries.

Ross McFadyen has been recognized provincially in the Litigation:General Commercial category. He practices in the area of civil litigation, with an emphasis on insolvency and restructuring, and commercial disputes.  He has extensive experience in providing advice to clients with respect to proposal proceedings under the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act proceedings under the Companies’ Creditors Arrangements Act, and in receivership matters, including acting as counsel for Court-appointed Receivers.  In addition, Ross has acted for clients in connection with matters involving debt collection, shareholder rights and remedies, insurance and construction matters.

Greg Tallon has been recognized provincially in the Corporate/Commercial category. His practice is concentrated in Business Law with particular experience in mergers and acquisitions, real estate leasing and development, secured transactions, securities and franchising.

Bruce Taylor have been recognized provincially in the Corporate/Commercial category. He practices in the areas of financial services, corporate restructuring, insolvency and bankruptcy law, including advice regarding corporate debt restructuring and recovery strategies, Companies’ Creditors Arrangement Act Arrangements and Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act proposals; loans, loan recovery, and enforcement; related shareholder, director, employee, environmental and other issues; lender liability, bankruptcy and receivership generally.
