Lucy graduated from the University of Manitoba in 1995 with a B.A. in English and Political Studies. In 2001 she received her LLB from the University of Manitoba Faculty of Law. Lucy was called to the Manitoba Bar in 2002.
After articling and practising at a Winnipeg firm, Lucy moved to Portage la Prairie in 2005, where she continues to live and practice law.
Lucy's law practice includes residential and agricultural real estate transactions, wills and estate planning, and estate administration.
In addition to her practice in Portage la Prairie, Lucy operates the firm's Gladstone branch. Lucy has volunteered with the Law Society's Bar Admission course (CPLED) as a Learning Group Facilitator in the practice areas of Practice Management and Drafting Contracts. She has volunteered as a board member for the Portage and District Chamber of Commerce, as a guider for Girl Guides of Canada, and is a current board member for the Community Foundation of Portage and District Inc.
