Thompson Dorfman Sweatman LLP advised Futuremark Development Inc. on a series of significant commercial real estate acquisitions completed over the past 12 months, with an aggregate transaction value exceeding $100 million CAD.
The TDS team, Stefan Drew, Christina Vieira Olfert, Leah Suderman, Noah Soenen and Abhinav Dhingra provided strategic legal advice throughout the acquisition process, including transaction structuring, financing, due diligence, negotiation and closing.
The acquisitions included commercial properties located at 1707 Dugald Road, 630 Kernaghan Avenue, 1700 Ellice Avenue, 585 Century Street and 1271 Sargent Avenue, with the most recent transaction closing on May 11, 2026.
These transactions demonstrate TDS' experience advising clients on complex, high-value commercial real estate acquisitions and financing matters. By working closely with Futuremark Development Inc. throughout multiple concurrent transactions, the team helped facilitate the efficient completion of acquisitions supporting the client's continued growth and investment strategy in Manitoba's commercial real estate market.
