During his time in law school, Eric participated in the French stream of the Canadian National Negotiation Competition and was a French oralist in the Laskin Moot Court Competition. His dedication towards collegiality, collaboration and bilingualism was nationally recognized, earning him the Spirit awards for both competitions. Eric also served as a student clerk for the Provincial Court of Manitoba in 2023.
Eric’s approach to volunteerism embodies the firm’s deep commitment towards community engagement. For nearly a decade he has organized his hometown of Sainte-Agathe’s annual community festival, the Cheyenne Summer Festival. As a law student, Eric was elected as the Vice-President External of the Manitoba Law Students’ Association. He currently serves as the Articling Student Representative for the Manitoba Bar Association.
Prior to law school, Eric received a Master of Arts from the University of Manitoba in Political Studies, with a focus on political and moral philosophy.
As a francophone, Eric is passionate about access to justice for French speakers. He is happy to assist in either official language.
