Chim is an associate lawyer with TDS in Winnipeg. Chim graduated from Robson Hall Faculty of Law at the University of Manitoba in 2020. During law school, she worked as a summer student at the Public Interest Law Centre and clerked at the Manitoba Court of Queen’s Bench. Before law school, she obtained an MA in linguistics, focused on critical discourse analysis, from York University.
