Chad is an associate at TDS, practicing primarily in the areas of intellectual property, technology law, and civil litigation. Chad has experience in a range of practice areas including intellectual property protection, intellectual property litigation, trademarks, copyright, negligence, construction disputes, and personal injury.

Chad worked for the firm as a summer student in 2022 and 2023, prior to joining the firm as an articling student in 2024. After his Call to the Bar in 2025, Chad joined the firm as an associate.

Chad obtained his Juris Doctor from the University of Manitoba in 2024. During his time in law school, Chad chaired the Manitoba Law Students Association Sports Committee.

Chad was recognized in 2024 as the winner of the Muriel St. John Award for his paper, “Decoding Deepfakes: Understanding non-consensual synthetic intimate images on the basis of sexual integrity.” Chad was also recognized for several achievements throughout law school, including the Pitblado Scholar Award (2021), and achieving the highest grades in Technology Law (2024), Indigenous Peoples and the Law (2024), and Constitutional Law (2022).

Before law school, Chad studied Political Science at the University of Manitoba, an interest inspired by his time abroad as an Arabic language student in Amman, Jordan.
