Erin Lawlor Forsyth is an associate with TDS who practices civil litigation and administrative law. Her practice is focused primarily on the areas of construction law, insurance law and commercial litigation.
Erin has extensive experience with all stages of litigation matters, from initial file assessment to advocating for clients in court. She has experience assisting clients with a variety of legal issues, including contractual disputes, negligence and debtor/creditor litigation.
Erin has appeared as counsel before the Provincial Court of Manitoba, the Manitoba Court of Queen’s Bench and the Manitoba Court of Appeal. She additionally has represented clients in mediations, arbitrations and judicially assisted dispute resolutions.
Erin completed her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Winnipeg in 2014 and subsequently obtained her Juris Doctor from the Faculty of Law at the University of Manitoba in 2017. Erin articled and worked as an associate with a boutique law firm in Winnipeg from 2017 until 2022, prior to joining TDS in 2022.
